A method, not a deck.

VentureQu is the quantum venture-building stack. 28 steps, seven modules, four decision gates, 109 deliverable fields. Built for funds, studios, CVCs, universities, and research centres — and handed, free, to every founder they back.

The problem

Nine quantum companies raised more than $100 million each. Combined revenue across the nine is below ten million. 52% of named quantum pilots never convert. Capital efficiency across the sector is under 0.01.

The money was not the constraint. The method for turning the money into a company was.

The approach

VentureQu is a running workflow, not a curriculum. Founders open the product and see what to work on today, what good looks like, and which questions will be asked in the next partner meeting. The organizations backing them read the same shape of evidence across every company on the book.

Every field in the product is grounded in a specific quantum company and a specific outcome — Quantinuum, IonQ, D-Wave, Zapata, QC Ware, Multiverse, SandboxAQ, Schrödinger and 70-plus more. Nothing is invented. No benchmark is hallucinated. If the number isn't real, the field is empty.

The four gates

  • Gate 1 — Product strategy (Step 4). Weak quantum-advantage theses drop out before the money is spent.
  • Gate 2 — IP & revenue model (Step 12). Unsustainable burn is cut. A real revenue model is on the table.
  • Gate 3 — First paying customer (Step 23). No paying customer means no Series A. The round waits or doesn't happen.
  • Gate 4 — Kill switch (Step 28). Ventures that cannot earn the next round are closed honestly, not bled.

Where VentureQu sits

VentureQu is a product inside the DeployQuantum ecosystem. DeployQuantum is the quantum readiness platform — grid, not generator. Vendor-neutral. Independent. DeployQuantum runs three pillars: Learn (free assessments, courses, intelligence), Build (paid services and simulation), and Scale (productised tools including LayerQu, VentureQu, and Simulator).

VentureQu is the venture-building stack inside that ecosystem. Organizations pay for the platform, co-branded cohort instances, and ongoing method updates. Founders receive it free, by invitation or waitlist.

Data behind the method

  • 81 quantum companies tracked in detail.
  • $11.8B in funding analysed.
  • 124 L1/L2 blockchain chains scored across 60 metrics (via sister product LayerQu).
  • 1,222 quantum research papers analysed.
  • 14 PQC migration case studies across 8 industries.
